Logo Overview
The Kin logo is the most visible component of the Kin brand. It consists of a custom wordmark with rounded edges.

Logo Spacing
Clear space buffers the logo from images, text, or other graphics that compromise its impact and visibility. The more breathing room you give our logo, the greater the impact it can have. The logo and the logomark’s exclusion zone are equal tohalf the height of the logo. (marked as X in the diagram).

Logo Colors
Our main brand color is yellow; however, it is important that the colors used in our logo prioritize legibility. The black and white versions of our logo should be considered equally important as our yellow logo. Additionally, the logo must meet the WCAG AA contrast ratio requirement of 3:1 for accessibility.

Logo Size
Establishing a minimum size ensures that the impact and legibility of the logo aren’t compromised. The Kin logo should never be smaller than 60px (width) in digital or 0.62in print.

Tagline Lock-up
The tagline lock-up features our core brand tagline, which is written in Inter Regular font. It uses the period as a spacer and aligns the baseline of the tagline at the bottom. This lock-up is intended for use in contexts where we want to provide more insight into what Kin represents, such as in video end cards or aggregator logo images.

Logo Misuse
It’s important that the appearance of the logo remains consistent. The logo should not be misinterpreted, modified, or added to. The orientation, color, and composition should remain as indicated in the guidelines.
